early this year, I was sucked with moving my studio during Fo Tan Studio Open. I didnt visit friends or studios, but a weird sound/music from a small dark room pull me in, it's complaints choir organized by Pep! In contrast to Cheerup HK, complaints choir collects real complaints (as you can watch from following) from the city, and turn into fun. What a release! I am really pissy off with fake-heart and fake-statement promotional things

my favourite version is

Complaints Choir of Birmingham
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2w84qzHdEms

hahaa....Looking forward the HK version

Pep!
http://www.peppeppep.org/

講座(二) Seminar 2
題目 Theme: 投訴藝術？！
講者 Speaker: 林東鵬 (視覺藝術家) 、朱耀煒 (二二六工程成員)
主持 Moderator: 鄧鍵一 (Roundtable Cultural Collective召集人)
日期 Date: May 23, 2009 (Sat)
時間 Time: 3:00 - 4:30 pm

Topic 2: Complain(t) Art?!

Speaker: Lam Tung-pang (Visual Artist)、Price Chu ( member of Project 226)
Date: 23 May 2009 (sat)
Time: 3:00pm - 4:30pm
Venue: kubrick-bc (Shop h2, Prosperous Garden, 3 Public Square St., Yau Ma Tei, kln)

We/you are creating, we/you are complaining?! I met Louis Yu in ADC Award Night and told him I am father-to-be.
"What a big project~!" he said

yes, it's really big, or not yet...many of my friends asking me does it change my perspective, I think so, just I am a person who takes ages to react...maybe that's why I spend most of my time thinking on materials and images but not actually working on the surface of paintings.

I made 2 version on same drawing images, the roll one (Muse Magazine, May issue2009) and the pillow one, actually the pillow one is more meaningful to me as my mum helping me sewing the pillow, I did the drawing transfer. It's included mum and my daugthers mother, I put 2 clips in difference size to enclosed the side.

Thx for invite from Susan Chan (muse magazine), so I can do this little gift for my daugther.
