Lam Tung-pang
Currently lives and works in Hong Kong, Tung-pang uses both traditional (oil, acrylic, charcoal, pencil) and non-traditional (nails, sand, plywood) materials to produce thought-provoking pieces engage with the ideas of memory, history or reflecting the specific situation of individuals or groups. They are mostly related to specific situations or social contents and some of them are in monument scale. All of Lam’s works are given a touch of humanity that makes them more approachable.
He has been awarded numerous scholarship and awards, including Arts Scholarship from Hong Kong Arts Development Council (2003), “Hunting Art Prizes Young Artist of the Year” in U.K.(2005) and Hong Kong Contemporary Art Biennial Awards (2009). He has exhibited extensively world-wide and has work in many private and public collections in the UK, USA & Hong Kong, including the Hong Kong Museum of Art.
林東鵬
生於香港,現於香港設立工作室生活及進行創作計劃。零一年自資於火炭與友人設立工作室並開放於公眾參觀。零三年以「火.炭」為題的作品入選香港藝術雙年展,為香港藝術館所藏。同年獲香港藝術發展局獎學金,前往英國聖馬丁藝術及設計學院修讀藝術碩士。畢業後旅居倫敦創作,零五年獲亨町藝術家獎(Hunting Art Prize) 比賽全年最佳年青藝術家獎 (young artists of the year)。他的作品從思考個人到人文與社會之間的問題,風格不一,主要以混合媒介(木,沙,釘水墨,炭筆,塑膠彩及油彩等)作平面處理。作品為英美及香港多間機構及私人收藏,包括香港藝術館,並於零九年獲香港當代藝術雙年獎。 |
